Jasa Marga staff who are in charge of the Karanglo Toll Road, Malang, Indrawan Agustinus said that in addition to limited operating hours. Road riders are prohibited from taking pictures or selfies along the Malang-Pandaan toll road.

"Motorists must be careful on the road, and obey the temporary signs installed by the officers. We strictly forbid not many selfies even though there are many good views along the toll road," said Indrawan.

In addition, the Malang-Pandaan toll road is only opened functionally welcoming the Christmas and New Year holidays. Drivers are also advised to be careful because there is still a development process at some point. So there are still a lot of building materials in the construction area.

"Because it is functionally opened, there is still a lot of construction. Therefore, it is expected to comply with the signs. Do not exceed the limit of up to 60 kilometers per hour. Although in reality many motorists drive 100 kilometers per hour," Indrawan said.

Indrawan revealed that there is no insurance for motorists passing on the Malang-Pandaan toll road. Because the toll road is opened functionally for free. For that drivers are encouraged to be careful when passing because it enters the rainy season.

"There is no insurance, we help as much as possible. We are prepared to install it temporarily. Our officers alert at several points. There is no insurance because it is not paid," said Indrawan.

One of the drivers of Mergosono residents, Malang City, Haedar Saleh admitted that the scenery of the Malang-Pandaan toll road was indeed quite good through the hills and seeing rows of mountains. He claimed that it only took 40 minutes from Bangil, Pasuruan to go to Malang City.

"The scenery is pretty good, the distance from Bangil to Malang is only 40 minutes, usually 2 hours. Incidentally, it has never been through here, try it. It's quite fast, but it's not finished. So a lot of construction is disturbing," said Haedar.
